Fortec, better known as FortecStar is headquartered in Canada and is a supplier of digital television equipment.

A privately held company, Fortec Communications Inc. began over 15 years ago by distributing digital television products throughout Europe and the Middle East.

As pioneers in the industry, Fortec established a reputation for customer satisfaction that eventually lead to the development of their own line of satellite products under the brand name FORTEC STAR®.

Company Timeline:

1995 – Fortec Star brand launched in Dubai.

2001 – Canadian sales office opens servicing the Americas.

2004 – U.K. sales office opened in England.

2005 – CanGulf Technologies opens in Dubai. CanGulf commences on Dish Manufacturing facility and Distribution Centre.

2006 – European sales office opens in the Netherlands.

2007 – Pacific Digital Multimedia opens in Korea.

2007 – Fortec launches it’s first HD Satellite receiver to the UK/EU Market.

2008 – Complete Brand refresh standardizing packaging to Global Markets.

2009 – Fortec joins DTG.

2009 – Fortec Far East Division opens in China. Sourcing and Distribution services initially with Manufacturing being added late 2011
